Book arts 1& 2
This course sequence introduces techniques and concepts unique to the genre of contemporary art called book arts. An artist's book can take many forms—from sculptural works made from existing books to letterpress-printed chapbooks of poetry—all united through an understanding and appreciation of the book as a physical object and a conduit for communication.
