ABout The Project
We're all tempted, seduced by the question: What will happen next? In this ongoing interdisciplinary collaboration started in 2023, writer Chrissy Kolaya and artist Rachel Simmons explore serious and absurd ideas about prediction, fortune-telling, magic, and other forms of speculation. They are working on a series of interactive artist's books, presentations, and workshops that engage the public in a discussion about speculation and its role in contemporary society.
LIMITED EDITION ARTISTS’ BOOKS
Their limited edition artist’s book, Chance of Pain, has been collected by the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art and Evergreen State College, and exhibited at Field Projects, NYC, The Georgia Center for the Book, and The 2025 CBAA Members Exhibition.
